    Verdict

This is possibly the most competitive race of the day and we will take a chance on Spark Up, with Forest Gump and Stellite just two of many dangers. The selection put in her best effort for some time when third to Ziet D'Alsace over the seven furlong trip here last time. There were some much higher rated horses behind that day and this represents a big drop in class. The trip is a slight worry but she should have enough class to beat these. Forest Gump showed improved form last time to finish an excellent second to Risk Free and another bold showing can be expected. Meanwhile Stellite has put in two eyecatching efforts against similar opposition recently and may reach the frame again. Lily The Guild and Shifty are also running well at present and have to be given a squeak, however Spark Up can make her class tell and gets the verdict.
