Verdict

Bar Of Silver was staying on over Southwell's seven furlongs last time and, although that form is nothing out of the ordinary, looks set to play a part here with stable in decent form. He looks to be Jamie Osborne's first choice from jockey bookings, his other runner being the cheaply-bought Procreate. Eastern Dagger met trouble in running when fourth at Lingfield last time and has a good chance of gaining compensation. Lugton's dam won a Newmarket claimer over ten furlongs and he would not have to be out-of-the-ordinary to play a part. The market ought to provide clues. And Toto Too has been runner-up in her last three races, at seven furlongs and a mile. Mark Johnston's stable will have a line on her form through Dubai Tower. The level of form of those to have run looks roughly equal but Eastern Dagger, unlucky last time, could be the one today and gets the nod.
