LACAN has failed to threaten in a couple of handicaps so far this year but this is much easier and Ralph Beckett’s charge can take advantage of the drop in class. Gold Flash landed a double over 7f here in January including a plating race with Dana's Present back in fifth and could go well along with Berlusca though the latter has been at his best over longer trips for some time now. Jumbo Prado has a bit to find on these terms but has recorded all seven wins to date over track and trip including this race last year while Mr Red Clubs has not raced since July.
