Spanish Conquest gets the vote in the finale ahead of Wishes Or Watches and Carlton Scroop. The selection is trained by Sir Mark Prescott, who is more than adept at placing his handicappers to run up a sequence. This one was successful last time out at Lingfield, beating Zalkani by a comfortable margin. There could be plenty more to come from this lightly raced type and he looks the one to be on. Wishes Or Watches looked all over the winner last time out but couldn't hold the late challenge of Summer Bounty. This is a similar contest and he should again be in the shake up. Carlton Scroop has been running well for most of the season but is hard to win with. He does run off a very lenient mark today and may run into a place. The best of the rest could be Dream Master, but Spanish Conquest is hard to ignore on his last run and he gets the verdict.
