In depth

Verdict

Cherri Fosfate, Catlivius and Bogside Katie form the shortlist for this claimer and the vote is given to Cherri Fosfate. The selection ran a blinder last time at Southwell when only beaten a neck by Bussel. A reproduction of that effort should suffice and from a good draw he should take plenty of beating. Catlivius finished behind our selection last time but even on these terms there is no reason to think that those placings will be reversed this afternoon. Bogside Katie was well beaten in a maiden at Southwell last time but she had run with some promise previously ovver this course and distance so she is not without hope. Aggbag is a course and distance winner and looks the best of the remainder, but Cherri Fosfate has solid claims and gets the vote.
