    Verdict

Follow The Flag has been raised 5lbs for his half-a-length defeat of Obezyana here last time and Alan McCabe's gelding may struggle to follow up in a race taken to go to NEW STAR, who gets the vote ahead of Formidable Guest. Jeff Pearce's mare has run well off the same mark as she races off today in all three starts since scoring here in February and she is entitled to be thereabouts again but may once more have to settle for minor honours. Enlist ran creditably in a maiden here last time but this is tougher and of more interest may be Supercast, who has been placed off the same mark as he can race off today in each of his last two starts. Glenridding is consistent but probably a shade high in the weights and a safer option looks to be New Star. Mark Brisbourne's gelding has done little wrong of late and he has an obvious chance racing off just a 1lb higher mark than when beaten a nose by Fremen at Lingfield last time.
