PARA MIO opened his account when stepped up to today’s trip at Newcastle. He won a shade cosily and is less exposed than today’s main rivals including Ice Canyon and Iftiraaq. The former was narrowly beaten over track and trip last time while the latter also found one too good here at the start of last month and has undergone wind surgery since. Tor is looking to exploit a much lower mark back on the all-weather and can be given a chance while Agent Gibbs was placed at Kempton in November in between a couple of poor efforts.
