Shake On It won cosily last time and Dark Ranger should go well but it may be worth taking a chance on INSIDE STORY. The market may help to reveal the full picture with regard to his chance but there's no denying that he's well handicapped at present and he's been a regular winner over the years. He wasn't beaten too far last time in a race that also featured Spinning Ridge and he's capable of going close. Shake On It was given a fine ride by Jamie Jones to win cosily and remains well enough treated on his revised mark. However, that was his maiden all-weather success and there has to be some doubt about his ability to follow-up. Dark Ranger has yet to win away from Lingfield but he did make the frame on his one run here and comes into this race on the back of a decent performance. National Monument's best performances have come at this track so he's worth bearing in mind along with Alfredtheordinary and Mackintosh but Inside Story gets the nod.
