        Verdict

        Pact Of Steel finished in front of I Think So when winning over track and trip between distinctly modest efforts. With Approval was placed over 7f at Newcastle last time while Poetic Legacy finished runner-up at the same track having won over 1m2f at Chelmsford before that. MAC AILEY has yet to win anywhere but has slipped down the weights this year and having posted better efforts on the Turf recently, Tim Easterby’s charge should make a bold bid on his return to the all-weather.
