This does not look to be the easiest of races to solve with half of the field making their first start in a nursery today and what can only be a tentative vote goes to Rosie Cross, who is preferred to Kings Art and Nepos. The last mentioned is one of two runners in the race owned by Paul Dixon and has claims on the pick of his form but has failed to progress as much as may have been anticipated and the switch to handicapping has not seemingly helped. The Mark Tompkins-trained Rowan Venture is probably better on a soft surface on turf, while the more experienced Nicada is proving to be expensive to follow. Kings Art needs to improve to give weight away all round and preference is for Rosie Cross, who has claims on the pick of her form and comes from a yard that has had a couple of winners of late.
