    Verdict

Pancake Day won over a longer trip at Southwell recently but had earlier finished behind runner-up MON PETIT FLEUR (NAP) over track and trip. The latter also finished ahead of Junior Ben on that occasion and looks capable of going one better in this. Ya Halla is not certain to appreciate the drop back to 5f after making the frame over 7f here while Bannister Bell was due to run at Southwell yesterday.
