    Verdict

Little Eskimo, Bold Saxon and Amber Isle are the three to consider here and Little Eskimo gets the vote. Bold Saxon showed promise at Newbury first time out and then ran with credit at Kempton, not beaten far in fifth. Further improvement can see him hit the frame. Amber Isle has run well on both his outings to date, most recently finishing fourth in a similar contest over the course and distance. This looks a weaker affair and he looks sure to be in the shake up. Little Eskimo shaped encouragingly first time out at Newmarket, finishing fourth and on the strength of that was made favourite at Southwell next time. he finished a close third, and although perhaps not showing the sort of progression anticipated, Little Eskimo seems the safest proposition here.
