In depth

Verdict

Cassie showed little in bumpers and over hurdles and made her debut on the surface over a mile here last week which proved too short. She'll need to find improvement to get into the action as RASASEE showed real promise on his debut here in November and Marco Botti's grey should be up to winning this. Louvencourt has a very smart pedigree being out of a mare who scored on the all-weather and is related to Group 1 winners. Mark Johnston's Halling colt could be useful so the market is best watched. De Aguilar finished a close third here in October but was beaten out of sight at Kempton later and that can't have been his form.
