Verdict

Carry Me Home is now 10lb lower than when winning at Newmarket two years ago and might appreciate this slight drop in grade, though doesn’t look the force of old. TRIPARTITE has yet to race beyond 1m2f on the Flat but has run a couple of fair races here this summer so it may be worth taking a chance on his stamina in a weak-looking opener ahead of the consistent but one-paced Camakasi and last month’s Chepstow runner-up Ancient Longing, who may find the going too quick. Broad Appeal has been in decent form and won off a higher mark on Polytrack in April so has to go on the short-list.
