Caradoc was progressive over shorter trips last year though is 5lb higher than when winning at Newbury. Frankuus also returns to action with a shout off his current mark having been gelded while Severance and Lawn Ranger were both placed in lower grade handicaps recently though are not out of this. But COUNTRY is taken to improve for an outing at Haydock when finishing third behind a subsequent winner and the Haggas charge looks on a fair mark considering he notched-up a hat-trick last year.
