Verdict

Blaze Of Colour made a very pleasing handicap debut here last week and can land this modest event from Vanilla Room and Kristal's Dream. Not exactly a Stoute stable star, but the selection had been performing well in maidens before finishing runner up to Bill Bennett. The opposition today appear to be slightly weaker and this son of Rainbow Quest can go one better. Kristal's Dream has flattered to deceive on numerous occasions but is well treated on the best of her form and can go close if the extra trip isn't a problem. Vanilla Moon has been steadily improving and a recent third behind Diamond Orchid over course and distance puts her right in the firing line. Best of the others could be course winner Foxilla who still looks on a fair mark, however Blaze of Colour looks the most progressive and gets our vote.
