Most of these have had chances that they have not taken; including the selection of Indiana Blues, who is a speculative choice over Millinsky and All Quiet in a race that is unlikely to provide a solid grounding as a future reference point. That said, Richard Quinn has been riding out of his skin since he returned from injury and is will not be surprising to see him go close aboard Future Deal, who made a very pleasing belated debut at Newbury in August. The fact that he has not raced since then does sound a few alarms though and it may be prudent to wait and see what the market says about his chance before taking, what in truth, is bit a plunge into the unknown with him as he drops in trip today. All Quiet has flattered to deceive a few times and is running out of chances. The official assessor has dropped her 11lb since her third to Peeress at Bath and it can be considered significant that she has not taken the handicap route so far. Even so, she does not look a reliable enough character to give her all in a finish and she may again be frustratingly short of the mark today. Millinsky has gone close in her last three starts and is obviously respected with the champion jockey doing the steering. However, Indiana Blues has some stronger form to her name and can finally come good today. The daughter of Indian Ridge was considered good enough to take her chance in the Cheveley Park Stakes last season, where, admittedly she was put in her place by a top-class field. Things obviously have taken turn for the worst since then, but it will be very disappointing for her connections if Indiana Blues does not have the measure of today's opposition after showing something of a return to form of late.
