Verdict

Mango Mischief is possibly the one to be on here, with Czarina Waltz and Olivia Rose rated as her biggest dangers. The selection has won two of her three races and defied the betting to score in a four-runner affair at Salisbury from her stablemate Camrose, who runs earlier on the card. She can progress for that effort and, having held some very good entries last season, could make up into a Listed performer. Czarina Waltz has not been overfaced for a five-year-old and was only collared close home by War Owl at Windsor last time. She should be thereabouts today, while Olivia Rose comes here in good heart, having won three of her last six races. Much as she has been raised six pounds for her most recent success, at Ripon, Richie Thomas takes off a useful five pounds and she too has to be on the shortlist. Strategy has this season so far seemed to be struggling under her reassessed rating, while Ballerina Suprema cost 330,000 guineas and was with Michael Bell when she looked promising in landing a Nottingham maiden. However, she has not been seen for 645 days. Rani Two is now rated just three pounds higher than for her latest success and, with a five-pound claimer booked, it would not be a surprise to go well. Doris Souter has won over course and distance and is gradually edging back towards a winning mark but she has something to find with Czarina Waltz on recent Windsor form. Miss Pebbles showed improved form in a visor last time and should appreciate the step up in trip today, while Sir Michael Stoute's runners have to be afforded all due respect although her handicap debut at Warwick in May was not too auspicious although the step up in trip for this half-sister to Landing Light should suit today.. Once again, then, we return to the selection which is Mango Mischief.
