In depth

Verdict

As usual with a field of newcomers, the betting may offer some clues and any support for WINNING WAYS should be noted. A half-brother to Group 1 winner Dick Whittington, William Haggas’ colt is entered in the Group 1 National Stakes at the Curragh later in the year. Act Of Freedom represents Godolphin and cost 140,000 euros while Redgrave is an early entry in next year’s Derby and King of Nepal is related to six winners. Express, South Seas and Private Mission are others to consider especially if the betting speaks in their favour.
