    Verdict

King Torus has a Listed penalty for his victory on fast ground at Haydock but handles this ground as he showed when beating Sarrsar at Nottingham in November. He reappeared with a reasonable fourth behind Sri Putra in a Listed contest at Kempton and should again have the call on Skilful, who was a length behind in fifth. TULLIUS was conceding 2lb to Memory Cloth at Newmarket nine days ago and stayed on strongly to get the better of Brian Ellison's charge. The runner-up was staying on without threatening and Andrew Balding's charge can take this as the places should be confirmed.
