Verdict

LADY BRIGID (NAP) is penalised for last week's maiden victory over track and trip. But she won by three lengths and can go in again with similar conditions underfoot. It was heavy ground when Half A Billion went close at Thirsk and he can figure in this along with Newbury runner-up Withernsea. Both Nova Champ and Polski Max ran well last time but the less exposed Crazy Chic should have more to offer. Ridge Ranger is also unexposed and may get involved dropping down a grade for this.
