Wisper has been a beaten favourite the last twice and has only won at Brighton so far. Mrembo is still 7lb higher than when scoring at Bath earlier in the season but did finish ahead of favourite Meleri when fourth at Sandown last month. DAME ETHEL SMYTH (NAP) has been slow to come to hand but was only beaten a head in a Yarmouth maiden on her latest start, splitting rivals rated 80 and 84. She runs off 76 on her handicap debut with Benoit De la Sayette taking off a further 3lb.
