In depth

Verdict

Today's going is an unknown factor for many of these but Whipcrackaway won on the soft at Goodwood in May and is just starting to come down the weights again. Temuco is another with decent claims on a couple of runs at Salisbury last month, though he has been found wanting in two previous efforts beyond a mile. Dynastic is struggling to get his head in front while stable companion Songburst was tailed off on his reappearance. CAIRANNE didn't appreciate the faster ground at Yarmouth last time but is now just a pound higher than when beaten only a neck at Newbury two runs ago under Darren Egan. A repeat of that effort may well suffice here as he holds Red Lover on a subsequent run at Newmarket.
