Verdict

Eastern Breeze and Lucky Legs both bring decent form into this contest. The former ran her best race so far when only going down by a neck at Pontefract last time, though did finish behind the latter over C&D in June. Barry Hills' filly has since been beaten at Carlisle, however, though the extra furlong on that stiff course may have stretched her stamina. Ffajir stepped up on her debut effort at Warwick when second over C&D last month and is on the upgrade, while the consistent Aerial Acclaim is unlikely to be far away again. For breeding purposes, connections will be keen to get a race out of the well-connected FOCAL, however, and it would no surprise if she was fully primed here despite a break. Sir Michael Stoute's filly may be the one to beat.
