        Verdict

        Shamshon never seems to run a bad race but the 10-year-old is high enough in the weights at present. Held up as usual, SPOOF came close to a third course and distance victory last week. He races off the same mark and winning rider Kieran Shoemark is back on board. Free Love has run well here in the past but lacks a recent run while Thegreatestshowman is an infrequent winner and has also had a break along with Centurion Song. Benefit Street has benefited from a drop back to 5f at Newmarket recently, however, and looks a threat.
