In depth

Verdict

Quothquan is upped in class off a higher mark after scoring over track and trip but Silver Link ran well in this grade at Pontefract recently and Stellar Surprise can do better back over today’s longer trip. Manners Please disappointed in soft ground last time but Calibration makes his handicap debut with Jim Crowley back on board and can go close. But it’s too soon to write off GENEVA CONVENTION as he was set a tough task on his handicap debut in Class 2 company at Goodwood having won a maiden in good style at Ascot before that. This is easier and Ryan Moore takes over the reins today.
