In depth

Verdict

Anythingtoday caught the eye on his first run since being gelded when a close fourth at Goodwood and his yard has hit a bit of form. But INTREPIDLY (NAP) can only improve on his comeback run at Sandown when far from disgraced. He’s only had the three starts so there should be plenty more to come. Calvados Spirit is hard to catch right but has ability and Biotic has run well in a couple of starts here this year, though is still creeping up the weights. Rita's Man won at Redcar and Ripon in May but was only third when chasing a hat-trick here last time and has gone up another 3lb since.
