In depth

Verdict

This features several frustrating types but CAPE CASTER is eased in grade after finishing fourth in a Newmarket handicap over a longer trip and looks the one to beat on earlier efforts at Doncaster and Leicester. Haleo was a 50/1 chance when finishing fifth at Bath but that was a big step up on his debut effort and there should be more to come. He has more scope than last month's Kempton fourth Black Label. Cincinnati Girl tries a new trip after finishing sixth over a mile here last time and Scoppio Del Carro races for the first time since November, though is worth noting for future reference. Rochambeau will need more time judged on his comeback run at Newbury.
