Verdict

John Betjeman is back on a winning mark and went close at Leicester recently but the less exposed FLAMENCO DE KERSER makes more appeal. The latter placed at Newton Abbot on his handicap debut and gets a speculative vote in an open race. Galore Desassences landed a maiden hurdle at Taunton last month while Man Of Light has placed off similar marks the last twice now. George Bancroft didn’t get very far when sent off favourite at Market Rasen on his handicap bow while Rhebus Road is fitted with cheekpieces after placing at Fontwell last time.
