Verdict

SERGEANT THUNDER's defeat of John Reel at Ludlow in April has turned out to be decent form. Harry Derham's claim accounts for most of his penalty and Paul Nicholls' four-year-old can make a winning reappearance. Royal Ripple has shown enough to suggest he'll be thereabouts again while Mountain Of Mourne was second at Worcester in May. Colony Club and Free Of Charge, who represents last year's winning connections, are possibly the most interesting of the newcomers.
