    Verdict

Another tough contest to weigh up despite the small field with all having a chance on their best form but we will side with Step Quick. The gelding won well last time out when defeating Mr Laggan and although he has never won over a trip this far before he is taken to score with conditions in his favour. Grey Ciseaux rates the main danger he won well last time out when defeating Baloo but he had previously looked very one paced as a row of seconds would indicate and he will find this tougher under his penalty. Klondike Charger is also worthy of respect he is taking a drop in grade and will not be far away despite top weight. Salford won well last time out when defeating Moody Blues but he has never won over a trip this far before and is not the most reliable so we are happy to stick with Step Quick.
