In depth

Verdict

Chef D'Equipe has alternated between hurdles and fences since acquired by David Maxwell but is rated higher over the larger obstacles so STORM ARISING (NAP) could complete a successful afternoon for Paul Nicholls. The Yeats gelding has a progressive profile and easily held off a well-regarded novice in a maiden here earlier in the month with the remainder in another parish. Hey Bud has placed the last twice and also looks to be on an upward curve with a step up in trip likely to suit but Jen's Boy has much to prove over timber.
