Verdict

JOKERS LEGACY can build on his Stratford success although Teddy's Reflection would be a live danger if able to reproduce the form of his hurdling bow. Victor Dartnall always held Jokers Legacy in quite high regard but he struggled initially over hurdles which was the case with many of the yard's horses in the first part of the season. Tim Vaughan has wasted little time in fitting him with cheekpieces and he appeared to appreciate the step up in trip and quicker ground last time. He now looks capable of fulfilling his potential. Teddy's Reflection produced a taking performance on his hurdling bow at Fontwell and wasn't entirely disgraced behind Mad Max at Newbury next time. However, he was disappointing at Huntingdon even allowing for the quality of the opposition and has a little to prove as a result. Richard's Sundance and Stellenbosch have place claims at best in this company but one that may prove capable of better than he's shown so far is the unexposed Aironageestring who makes his hurdling bow having shown plenty on his first two starts in bumpers. It will be interesting to see what support the Nicholls runner attracts but Jokers Legacy gets the verdict.
