Verdict

RUSTAMABAD gets the nod ahead of Fourth Act is a race in which just those two can be fancied. Tim Vaughan's charge made headway throughout the final mile at Southwell last time and, though never threatening the principals, is heading in the right direction and promises to be suited by the longer trip today. Colin Tizzard's gelding makes his seasonal reappearance and was last seen over fences. His future may lie in chases and he'll find today's going quick enough. Victory for any of the remainder would depend on something happening to the aforementioned.
