In depth

Verdict

This looks less competitive than the previous race as CHASE THE WIND will likely take the beating. He found only the progressive Vieux Lion Rouge too good at Newbury on his introduction and today's opposition have some catching up to do to match that form. Lady Charisma wasn't beaten that far when sixth on her debut, also at Newbury, but Somerset Lias disappointed last time having finished second at Ludlow in January. Orchard Road has been placed in an all-weather bumper but returns from over a year off the track and Simply A Legend makes more appeal with improvement expected.
