Verdict

It's impossible to look beyond ORCHARD HOUSE; each-way alternatives include Rudival, Quil Est Beau and Title Deed. The selection may be burdened by a 7lb penalty for his win at Huntingdon but the handicapper's likely to double that when granted the opportunity. The gelding was having just his fourth start over hurdles and his second for Evan Williams that day; he won hard held and looked as though he could have gone round again. Rudivale has made the frame on his last three starts and should be thereabouts again but he may not improve until being sent over fences. Patsy Bee has been running reasonably well in sellers and sees out this longer trip will enough whilst Title Deed and Quil Est Beau are unexposed and represent respected yards. Neither has shown a great deal in qualifying for their marks though and the latter was declared to run at Exeter yesterday; this prize looks ripe for picking by Orchard House.
