Verdict

A race where few make appeal from many and ALFLORA DORA is our idea of the winner with Caoba and Rith Bob also on the shortlist. The mare is yet to get her head infront but she has been campaigned in stronger opposition. Her Taunton run was a disappointment but her second to Ravello Bay at Huntingdon is a class above any other form on offer. Caoba has been in good form at Newton Abbot in the past. If she can translate form to a more galloping track, she will be a factor. Rith Bob represents a yard that have been in solid form during the last few months. She has acted on a similar surface in the past. Lady Hillingdon finished second in a handicap hurdle at Navan last month over two miles and appeared to be in need of a longer trip. Chilla Cilla has failed to build upon the initial promise of her bumpers. Palmito is a half-sister to the useful Crescent Island so expect her to leave behind a moderate run on her first racecourse start. Winning Irish pointer, Charlottes Web now has it to prove. The remainder appear to have it to do on official figures.Alflora Dora has strong claims if bringing her A game to the table.
