Queen's Bay has been quite highly tried since getting off the mark at Towcester in November but she'd been running well prior to a slightly disappointing effort in a C&D handicap last time. She may well appreciate this easing in grade but we fancy NIGHT ROSE to improve past her. Alan King's mare certainly wasn't winning out of turn over this trip at Huntingdon last month as she would have almost certainly have won at Taunton the time before had she not fallen two out and an earlier second to Golden Gael has worked out well. Mabel Tasman has been knocking on the door but is up against a couple of useful mares here and bumper winner Russie With Love may just need this.
