Verdict

Colin Tizzard's Wise Men Say ran better here behind Weststern last time and has to be respected on that evidence but he has a bit to find with RHINESTONE RUBY on running that day and Neil Mulholland's mare, having finished second then, is taken to go one better today with the main danger rated as Huguenot. The Philip Hobbs-trained gelding won well over fences at Newton Abbot two starts ago, has run well since then at Hereford and he has to be considered off a lower mark back over hurdles. Chilbury Hill has shown improved form of late and he has to be considered racing off the same mark as when chasing home Segal at Hereford last time. Raise Again has been running well without ever looking like threatening the judge and he looks booked for a place at best. Alison Thorpe's Mtoto's Prince has been well held in novice hurdles and may do better now sent handicapping, while Quiditch D'ouxy has more to do than when winning a selling handicap at Huntingdon last time. Preference then is for Rhinestone Ruby, who is taken to go one better than when chasing home Weststern here last time.
