    Verdict

Manawanui lines up in form and add to his tally, with Dr Charlie, Cullian and Cyindien seen as the main dangers. After a couple of falls over fences, Robert Alner decided to put Manawanui back over hurdles at Exeter last time and the move paid off as he won well. He was entitled to as he was a stone better off than over the bigger obstacles, and as he is still well handicapped, must go close, with the ground and trip today in his favour. Dr Charlie showed signs of a return to form last time, while Cullian has been consistent but is another that has his fair share of weight. Cyindien has yet to show what he can really do but has the assistance of Tony McCoy, and Laffah's last spell over hurdles was over two years ago, although the stable won this last year with Bigwig. All roads point to Manawanui in the last and he should send favourite backers home happy.
