Verdict

SAVANT BLEU came right back to form at Newbury 12 days ago and did win over a similar trip at Wetherby a year ago. He may be a more reliable prospect that Jody Sole's mount Buck's Bond, though the course and distance winner had excuses on a return visit. Hunter chaser Benedictus can't be ignored after a close third at Leicester but Danimix has his first start since falling in the Summer Cup at Uttoxeter last June and is probably best watched. Marley Roca and Jack Bene were both well beaten behind Bradley at Sandown last month and it's difficult to make a case for many of the others at the weights.
