In depth

Verdict

Karello Bay looks sure to start a very skinny price, however there looks little to oppose her with and so she gets the vote, with possibly Crimond rating as the main danger. Nicky Henderson has his horses in good form at present and will be looking to take this race on the way to better things with Karello Bay. A very useful bumper performer last year, she travelled well on her hurdles debut last month until the lack of match-practice took its toll. Fitter today, this looks a penalty kick. Crimond nearly sprang a massive surprise on her hurdling debut at 50/1 when just caught late on. She steps back slightly in trip today which should help, but she may only be chasing place money. Lamanver Homerun represents a powerful stable, however she would need to improve on her previous efforts to trouble the selection. Ultimately this looks a simple opportunity for Karello Bay to land the spoils on the way to better things.
