In depth

Verdict

Westerner Point had a bit of form in point-to-points at the start of the year but may not have the pace for this after a lay-off. Bay Sly will probably start favourite on the back of seconds at Listowel and Tipperary but looks vulnerable to a less-exposed type. WAR AND CONTRITION ran well for a long way on his debut at Cork and wasn't punished once his chance had gone. Any improvement could make him tough to beat in an ordinary-looking bumper.
