Verdict

It's not often a Willie Mullins runner comes up against one from Ballydoyle and this race will be worth watching for the novelty value alone. Marchese Marconi was fourth to Ted Veale at Bellewstown on Wednesday and comes up against another smart hurdler in PIQUE SOUS. The grey is unexposed on the level and is fancied to bounce back from a disappointing effort in the Galway Hurdle. Annie Other won a maiden over course and distance in May but, better known as a chaser nowadays, she's likely to struggle against the market principals.
