Verdict

Fire In His Eyes, a dual hurdles winner, lost his way over fences after four successive runner's-up spots though may be rejuvenated by better ground and a longer trip. Kagney won a bumper and a maiden hurdle back in 2016 and was reappearing after a very long break and making his debut over fences when runner-up at Kilbeggan last month. He looked like winning there until weakening in the closing stages and with that under his belt looks certain to make a bold bid go one better. Master Appeal has won four times over timber and though yet to make his mark over the bigger obstacles has been placed over the track and trip. ORION D'AUBRELLE joined Willie Mullins after landing a three-year-old hurdle in France and has been brought along steadily. His latest run over timber, a close fourth in a Grade B handicap at Punchestown, was a fine effort and he's taken to make a successful debut over fences.
