In depth

Verdict

ARE YA RIGHT CHIEF was a little disappointing when tackling this trip for the first time at Punchestown last month but his overall form is strong and he can defy a penalty for his bumper success. Winning point-to-pointer Pestal And Mortar ran a cracking race on ground probably too fast for her at Downpatrick and must be a major threat with her allowances as must Vicalus, who was just touched off over 2m4f on fast ground here in April. Misty Weather is another receiving plenty of weight and she's always looked as though this longer trip would suit. Easy Mate did well when stepped up to 2m4f at Ballinrobe and is another to consider in an open event.
