SOUTH SOUTH WEST has been steadily improving and caught the eye in no uncertain terms at Gowran a couple of weeks ago when staying on strongly behind Oh Happy Days. He's from a family of late developers and looks ready to take this and start climbing the ratings. Porterman did a bit better when sent over this trip at Leopardstown so it's a surprise that he's been dropped in the weights. He's one to keep an eye on as is Hurricane Jojo on his handicap debut as he's shown some potential in decent maidens. It's difficult to get enthusiastic over the remainder and the betting should be watched for clues.
