Verdict

GOULANE CHOSEN was having his 16th start over fences when finally getting off the mark at Clonmel a couple of weeks ago. Testing ground is a must have for the eight-year-old so conditions should be in his favour again. The front-running Capture The Drama ran a shocker at Down Royal last time but can't have been right and his earlier form, with three victories from his previous five starts, puts him right in the picture. Winning point-to-pointer Dr Waluigi has had 14 starts under Rules with only a couple of placed efforts to show for it and the remaining pair are badly out of form.
