Verdict

SUPREME CAROLINA looks the one to beat on her handicap debut as she appears to have been let in lightly following her battling success in a Leopardstown maiden at Christmas. Gates Of Rome mixes hurdling with chasing and produced his best run for a while over timber at Gowran so must be on the short-list. Darwins Theory hasn't run since October but had some decent form in good company and should be winning before too long, a remark that also applies to the well regarded Blacklough.
