Verdict

BRIAN THE WARRIOR, runner-up to Marshim here in October and much better off at the weights, is still a maiden but might well have lost that tag but for falling two out in Speed Dial's race here in December. He's been given time to recover and is handed the vote to finally get off the mark. Shanroe Society has suffered in the weights after his victory at Thurles in January while Gordon Elliott's recent acquisition from the UK Castletown Bridge may still be a few pounds high in the weights.
